Focus: How to Spend Your Time

Sometimes things get so hectic and crazy that you lose sight of what you’re trying to do. When this happens, take a step back and look at your life. Figure out what it is you want to focus on and redirect your attention to that specific task.

I have been extremely busy lately and found myself overworked. Certain projects were starting to slip and other projects were still being worked on. However, I had to decide what projects were most important to me and eliminate the others. I have to admit, any project I take on, I do consider important, but there are different reasons for choosing different projects.

As some of you may have realized, Candid Conversation has been put on hold for a little bit, however, this was not intentional. I did switch some things around and it is still a work in progress, however, I never meant to let it slip by and not get any attention. I have now chosen what I am going to work on, and unfortunately, what I’ve had to let go.

I’ve realized that sometimes it’s important to focus on and strengthen a couple projects rather than have a ton of projects that only get half the time and effort I’d like to put in to them.

Remember this when you feel like you can “take on anything and everything.” Eventually, you will feel overwhelmed and will realize you have spread yourself too thin.

So now that my focus is redirected, you will see more posts with Candid Convo and I would love to hear your feedback and advice. Although this is still a work in progress, I am very excited and have a lot of ideas for this project. I am looking to move forward with this project and can’t wait to interact with all of you and answer any questions you might have!

Keep an eye out for the exciting changes and new things to come with Candid Conversation. πŸ™‚
