Sometimes when you want to explain something to someone, it’s better to do it in a few words, rather than a lot. Have you ever wanted to tell someone something but didn’t know how to explain it, so you “over explain” what you’re trying to say?
What I do if I’m in that situation is first write a letter. Once you’ve looked over the letter a couple times & made any necessary changes. You can decide from here if you want to give the person the letter or speak to them in person. If you still feel like speaking to the person face to face is the best option, having written the letter first will help you have a plan.
Although sometimes it is necessary to have a long sit down conversation, like I said before…it’s not always the best way to go about things. Sometimes a simple explanation of what is going through your mind is all that needs to be said.
But always remember one thing:
tomorrow is never promised today, so always say what you need to say
